Roy Michael Metzger, Sr. 67
Roy Michael Metzger, Sr. 67 of West Portsmouth, died Tuesday March 9, 2010 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born November 2, 1942 in Portsmouth to the late John and Edna Lucille Sadler Metzger. He was a Vietnam War Army Veteran. Along with his parents Roy was preceded in death by 3 brothers David, Bobby and Dennis Metzger, and a sister Jamie Metzger.
Roy is survived by his wife Barbara Jo-Anne Holt Metzger who he married on December 19, 1962, a son Roy M. Metzger Jr (Gail Culp) of Kentucky and a daughter Angela Metzger of West Portsmouth, 5 Grandchildren; Diana Metzger (Randy Monteith, Jr), Joseph Metzger, Heather Warnock (Paul Richards) all of West Portsmouth, Nathan Metzger of Indiana and Stephanie (Matthew) Rogers of Indiana, 2 brothers; James Sadler of West Portsmouth and Pearl Metzger of Columbus, 2 sisters; Thelma Brown of Sugar Grove and Jean Ann Winters of West Portsmouth.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday March 12, 2010 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth and interment in McKendree Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11AM until the funeral hour. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
