Ruby Louise Clausing, 76

Ruby Louise Clausing, 76 of Lucasville died Thursday, September 8, 2005 at her home. Ruby was born September 25, 1928 in Portsmouth to the late Reuben and Laura May Nolen Smith. She worked at Williams Shoe Manufacturing Company and was a member of Rehoboth Mission Church.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Clausing in May of 2002. She is survived by a son, Eugene Clausing of Auburn, Kansas; a daughter Mary Jane Johnson of McDermott; four sisters, Eileen Wright of Columbus, Virginia Martin of West Portsmouth, Joyce Williams of Portsmouth, Louella Mann of West Portsmouth; a brother Jerry Smith of Texas; five grandchildren, Carey Iennaccaro, Shawn Clausing, Brandon Clausing all of Kansas, Laura Johnson Kumler of Cincinnati and Guy Johnson of New Boston; and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Monday, September 12, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Albert Breech and Joey Nelson officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 to 9 P.M. on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
