Ruth Mary Clifford, 87
Ruth Mary Clifford, 87 of West Portsmouth, died Thursday October 8, 2009 at Heartland of Portsmouth. She was born November 8, 1921 in Portsmouth to the late Oscar and Nellie Neff Dressler. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Portsmouth. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Arthur (Hank) Clifford who she married on June 24, 1948, along with 2 brothers; Robert and Roy Dressler.
Ruth is survived by a sister Pauline Cramer of Portsmouth and a special niece and nephew Judy and Frank Litteral of Portsmouth.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday October 12, 2009 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Kym James officiating and interment in Memorial Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
