Ruth Louise Borden, 89

Ruth Louise Borden, 89 of Portsmouth, died Thursday August 6, 2015 at Hempstead Manor. She was born September 7, 1925 in West Portsmouth to the late Ernest and Bessie Kegley Harrison. Ruth was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star and Rebecca's Shriners. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Joseph J. Borden whom she married February 2, 1970, a son Jack Monk, 2 brothers; Elmer and Roy Harrison, and 2 sisters Virginia Treadway, and Patsy Ann Harrison.

Ruth is survived a daughter Linda Hiles of Portsmouth, a brother Bill Harrison of Anderson, SC, 3 grandchidren; Gary Hiles of Portsmouth, Donald Monk and Casie Butt both of Michigan and 6 great grandchildren.
