Ruth Irene Pollitt, 86
Ruth Irene Pollitt, 86 of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday January 26, 2011 at Heartland of Woodridge in Fairfield, Ohio. She was born July 17, 1924 in New Boston, Ohio. She was a homemaker and attended the Christ Restoration Church. Ruth was preceded in death by her stepfather and mother Edgar and Hazel Eulett Shively, and her husband Elza A Pollitt Sr.
Ruth is survived by 3 sons; Douglas Pollitt of Ashville, Oh., Elza Pollitt Jr (Susan) of Mansfield, and Mark Pollitt (Charlotte) of Waverly, a special sister-in-law Genevieve Fultz of Portsmouth, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday January 29, 2011 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with George Pleasant officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery.
