Ruth Nolene Morgan, 79

Ruth Nolene Smith Morgan, 79 of West Portsmouth died Saturday, February 9, 2008 at her residence. Ruth was born April 13, 1928 in Schultz Creek, Kentucky to the late Richard and Thelma Noel Smith. She was a homemaker and worked as a seamstress at Martings. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Marvin Morgan, a son Marvin Morgan and a brother Raymond Smith.

Ruth is survived by three sons, Mark (Ruth Windsor) Morgan, Matthew (Mary Beth) Morgan, Micah and (Jeannie) Morgan, Deborah (Robert) Deaver and Jennifer (Jim) Eakins all of West Portsmouth, a daughter-in-law Sue Morgan of McDermott, three brothers, Jack Smith of Dayton, George Smith of South Shore, KY and Richard Smith of West Portsmouth; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren. The family would also like to thank caregivers Connie Browning, Beverly Entler and Kathy Day along with Heartland Hospice.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rick Ratliff officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
