Sallie Marie Perdue 85

Sallie Marie Perdue, 85 of West Portsmouth died Sunday, June 11, 2006 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Sallie was born September 26, 1920 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Mike and Lugenia Jane Joplin Moss.

Sallie was preceded in death by her husband Irlan Perdue. She is survived by six sons, James Earl Perdue of Lookout, W. VA, Jesse Perdue of Danville, Marvin Perdue of West Portsmouth, Larry Perdue of Gloucester, VA, Mike Perdue of West Portsmouth, and Joe Perdue of Danville, W VA;
Two daughters, Emma Roberts and Nora "Sissie" Roberts both of Alkol, W VA; three sisters, Margaret Eggleston of Charleston W VA, Thelma Milan of Blooming Rose, W VA, and Madelyn Harrison of Florida; 36 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren. Sallie was preceded in death by one daughter Lorraine Perdue, and one son Golden Perdue and five brothers.

A Funeral Service will be 6 P.M. at the Bible Chapel on Haige Ave. West Portsmouth on Tuesday, June 13, 2006. Friends may call at the Bible Chapel 4 to 6 P.M. prior to the service. Sallie will be at the Handley Funeral Home in Danville, West Virginia with interment in Marmet Cemetery in Marmet, West Virginia. Local arrangements by the Roger W.
