Sandra Lou Sowards, 65

Sandra Lou Sowards, 65 of Portsmouth died Friday, October 4, 2019 at Rosemount Pavilion.  She was born April 9, 1954 in Portsmouth to the late John and Pauline Cooper Sowards.  She retired from Shawnee State University (Sodexo).

Sandra is survived by 2 daughters; Stacy (Jamie Lotts) Liptrap of Stuarts Draft, Virginia and Tracy (Michael Carter) Huffman of Staunton, Virginia, a brother, John Sowards, a sister, Brenda Sowards, and an aunt, Helen Bays.

The family would like to thank April Cooper, Sandra's aunt for all her love and support.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, October 7, 2019 at the Roger W.
