Sarah Ethel Cooper, 70
Sarah Ethel Cooper, 70 of West Portsmouth died Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Sarah was born November 21, 1936 in Portsmouth, OH. She was a Nurses Aide.
Sarah is survived by four sons, Glenn Edward Gilbert, Kenny Paul and Debbie Gilbert, Ronnie Lee and Shelby Gilbert and Ernest Ray Gilbert; and two daughters, Wanda and Howard Hayslip and Donna and Charlie Reed. She is also survived by four sisters, Mary Reed, Linda Castle, Rosie Smith and Dottie Smith of Otway. and two brothers, Dave and Lester Smith, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Gilbert, a son Danny Gilbert and Clara and Max Smith the Grandparents that raised her.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth and interment in Vaughters Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 10 to 1 P.M Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
