Eva Jean Brown, 48 and Scotty Joe Brown, 44

Eva Jean Brown, 48 and her husband Scotty Joe Brown, 44 of Fort Wayne, Indiana formerly of Portsmouth died one day apart on April 11 & 12, 2021 in Indianapolis. Eva was born November 30, 1972 in Portsmouth to the late Robert and Mary Russell Newman. Scotty was born October 22, 1976 in Portsmouth to Michael Brown and the late Sherry Eldridge Hollin.

Along with Eva's parents and Scotty's mother, they were preceded in death by a daughter, Kayla Evans, and her sister, Rebecca Newman.

Along with Scotty's father, they are survived by a son, Daniel McIntyre, a daughter, Jacinda Spencer, Abigail Lane who they raised, 7 grandchildren; Sophia, Kaleb, TJ, Madison, Jaxon, Tressa, and Atlas, her brothers; Robert and David Newman, his brother, Michael Brown, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Tim Aldridge officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday starting at 12:00 PM. Condolences and donations may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
