Shannon K. Boren, 64

Shannon K. Boren, 64 of Dayton, died Friday July 11, 2014 at Day Spring of Miami Valley in Dayton. She was born November 29, 1949 in Portsmouth to the late Millard and Betty Curnutte Butler. Shannon is survived by her husband Dennis W. Boren who she married in February 14, 1966 in Tazwell, VA., 2 daughters; Erin Pierce of Portsmouth and Jill Boren of North Carolina, a brother Brent Butler of Indiana, a sister, Jill McDonald of Portsmouth, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday July 15, 2014 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home starting at 5:30 PM.
