Sharon Sue Puckett, 67
Sharon Sue Puckett, 67 of West Portsmouth, went home to be with the Lord on Friday July 27, 2012 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born October 27, 1944 in Portsmouth to the late Hiram Oakley and Lillian Sarah McGraw Bevis. Sharon was a former cook for the Elks, Harold's Restaurant, Ye Ole Lantern, Golden Years Convalescent Center and Heritage Square just to name a few. She was a member of Rehoboth Mission Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and granny. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a son Harold Puckett.
Sharon is survived by her husband Heskell J. Puckett who she married on January 1, 1961, 3 sons; Mark (Julie) Puckett of West Portsmouth, Timothy (Tina) Puckett of Portsmouth and Terry (Vickie) Puckett of Sciotoville, 3 daughters; Shari (Ralph) Boggs of Minford, Jackie (Brian) Summers of Rosemount and Traci Puckett of West Portsmouth, a sister Patricia Cooper of West Portsmouth, 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon on Tuesday July 31, 2012 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Craddock Frye officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Monday and 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
