Shirley Ann Maynard, 71
Shirley Ann Maynard, 71 of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday April 16, 2008 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born June 26, 1936 in Lancaster to the late Ernest and Garnet Hazelbaker Ellis. She was a former cook. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James Maynard and a grandson Sonny Maynard.
Shirley is survived by 1 son, Burl Maynard of West Portsmouth, 3 daughters; Ester Collier of West Portsmouth, Brenda Maynard and Barbara Backus both of Hebron, Oh, a sister, Pam Ellis of Columbus, 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Friday April 18, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Chris Gobin officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 PM till the funeral hour. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
