Stanley R. Adkins, 71

Stanley R. Adkins, 71 of West Portsmouth passed away April 26, 2007 at his residence.
He was born September 15, 1935 in Scioto County to the late George and Irene Stevens
Adkins. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Stanley is survived by his wife Rosemary Hobbs Adkins whom he married March 9, 1963;
two sons, Lester (Lynn) Adkins of Croften, KY, and George Adkins of West Portsmouth;
two daughters, Jeannie (Eddie) Wright of Columbus, Eva (Chris) Plummer both of West Portsmouth;
three brothers, Jerry (Pam) Adkins, Marshall (Linda) Adkins, and Norman Adkins all of West;
Portsmouth; two sisters, Mary (Norm) Gross and Marcellia Worthington both of Portsmouth;
eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by a sister Emogene McGraw.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Monday, April 30, 2007 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home
in West Portsmouth with Keith Webb officiating. Interment in Worley's Run Cemetery with graveside Military Rites by James Dickey Post 23 American Legion.
