Stephen Goad, 55
Stephen Goad, 55 of West Portsmouth, died Tuesday May 27, 2008 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus. He was born May 28, 1952 in Portsmouth to the late William Goad and Maxine Moore Goad of Portsmouth. He was a Maintenance Supervisor for Portsmouth Public Library and was a sculptor and a painter. Along with his father Stephen was preceded in death by a brother Dale "Brud" Goad.
Stephen is survived by his wife Mary Shepherd Goad, an adopted son Jason Goad of KY, a stepson James McCarty of Portsmouth, a stepdaughter Angela Kelly of Alexandria, Ky, 3 grandsons; Mason, Luke and Will Kelly all of Alexandria, Ky. along with several loving cousins and aunts.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday May 30, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend John Gowdy officiating and interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Thursday and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
