Stephen Wayne Sissel Jr., 48

Stephen Wayne Sissel Jr., 48 of West Portsmouth, died Monday October 2, 2023 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born April 13, 1975 to Stephen Wayne Sissel Sr. and the late Zelda Elise Henry Sissel.

Stephen was a 1993 graduate of Portsmouth West High School and was member of Western Sun Masonic Lodge # 91. He was a Deputy for the Scioto County Sheriff's office for over 20 years. He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his girls.

Along with his father, Stephen is survived by 2 daughters: Audrey Sissel and Alayna Sissel, 2 sisters: Christina (John) Mahle and Cassy (Josh) Rawlins, a niece Laycie Mahle, 2 nephews: John Mahle Jr. and Ethan Mahle, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 6, 2023 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Roy Bennett officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park.
