Steve M. Scalf Sr., 57 of West Portsmouth, died Thursday October 30, 2014 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born July 2, 1957 in Columbus to the late Winford Gene Scalf and Catherine Louise Phipps. He was a Carpenter and a Plumber. Along with his parents Steve was preceded in death by a stepmother Nancy Scalf and 2 brothers; Jeff Scalf and Billy Marcus.

Steve is survived by his wife, Sharon Loretta Brown Scalf who he married on April 2, 1975, 2 daughters; Misty Dawn Scalf of Portsmouth and Stacy Lynn (Paul) Davis of Lucasville, a son, Steven M. Scalf Jr. of West Portsmouth, 4 brothers; Ronald Scalf of Elkhart, IN., Patrick Scalf of Lucasville, Ted Scalf of Sciotoville and David Brannon of Sciotoville, 2 stepbrothers; Stephen Wilson and John Wilson both of Portsmouth, 2 sisters; Wanda (Chuck) Wilson of Sciotoville and Marlene Marcum of Portsmouth, a stepsister Barbara Wilson of Portsmouth, 3 grandchildren; Austin Curtis Ray Deemer, Dylan Davis and Emma Davis.

Funeral services will be 1:00 Pm Tuesday November 4, 2014 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Raymond Russell officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
