Steven Wayne Nuckols Sr.

Steven Wayne Nuckols, Sr. 48 of Portsmouth, died Sunday October 7, 2007 at SOMC Hospice. He was born November 22, 1958 in Portsmouth to the late William Claypool Nuckols and Doris Swords Bellomy. He was a former auto mechanic and was a member of the Friendship Church of God. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son Jonathon Nuckols and a brother William Curtis Nuckols Jr.

Steven is survived by his wife Cindy J. Campbell Nuckols whom he married July 18, 1975, 2 sons; Steven W. (Andrea J.) Nuckols Jr. of Portsmouth and Branden Lee Curtis Nuckols at home, two daughters; Cynthia J. Nuckols of Portsmouth and Stephanie S. Nuckols (Donnie Sparks) of Colorado, 2 brothers; John (Carmel) Nuckols of Portsmouth and Terry Lee (Denese) Nuckols of Michigan, 2 sisters; Jessie Cullium of Portsmouth and Doris Ann (Lester) Timberlake of South Shore, Ky. 10 grandchildren; Jaden Nichole Nuckols, Steven Wayne Nuckols III (Pork Chop), Logan Issiah Nuckols, Brent Tyler Nuckols-Kazee, Alexis Hope Mershon, Steven Taylor Nuckols-Mullins, Baily Shaianne Mullins, Donald Lee Sparks II, Jacob Corbin Sparks and Isaac William Sparks.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday October 10, 2007 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with David Blevins officiating and interment in Vaughters Cemetery.
