Susan Kay Montgomery, 68

Susan Kay Montgomery, 68 of West Portsmouth, died Friday, February 16, 2024 at her home. She was born September 20, 1955 in Portsmouth to the late Raymond LaFayette and Jacqueline Bibby McGraw.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Raymond LaFayette McGraw IV.

Susan was a retired Orthopedic Nurse at SOMC with 42 years of service. She was the Past President and member of the American Legion Post #471 Auxiliary, a member of the Red Hat Society and a member of the Eastern Star.

Susan is survived by her husband of 40 years, Elmer Montgomery, whom she married on November 19, 1983, a sister-in-law Cynthia McGraw, 3 nephews; Tyler McGraw, Andrew McGraw and Nathan (Keely) McGraw and great nephews Kenady and Griffin.
