Tereasa Ann Collins, 68

Tereasa Ann Collins, 68, of Portsmouth, passed away, Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at her home after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her family. She was born February 2, 1954, in Portsmouth, to the late David T. and Joyce Shaw Mathews.

Along with her parents she is proceeded in death by a daughter, Terasita Collins, a brother, David T. Mathews II and an extended family member Pam Kessinger.

Tereasa was a Home Day Care Provider for many years.

Tereasa is survived by 2 daughters, Deanna Wallace and Bethany (Kristopher) Irwin, a sister, Brenda Haynes, 4 grandchildren, Kaylee Collins, Damien Wallace, Ty Irwin, and Mya Irwin, an aunt, Wilma (Rodney) Summerfield, and a close friend she loved like a sister, Mary Costello, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rick Phillips officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery.
