Thelma Sparks Horsley, 83

Thelma Sparks Horsley, 83 of West Portsmouth was born July 12, 1924 and died, October 2, 2007 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Thelma was born in Ethel, West Virginia to the late William G. and Birdie Cox Sparks. She was a Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She has now crossed over to Jordan to the other side to be with family and friends and most of all Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Horsley and two daughters, Patty Lou Horsley and Pamela Marlene Horsley

She is survived by daughters Judith Ann Martin of Portsmouth and Kay Sue Horsley of West Portsmouth and Thelma Jean Martin (Gary) of Lucasville and son Carl Horsley Jr of West Portsmouth. She is also survived by grandchildren Christine Marie Scott (Edward Lee) Michael Louis Martin Jr.(Kelly) and Gary Lee Martin Jr. (Nichole) and Lori Jean Leach (Ricky), Great grandchildren, Chaz Horsley, Justin Horsley, Emily Scott, Darren Martin, Jacob and Avery Leach and Makenna Martin.

She will be missed by many as she brought a smile to whomever she met.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rodney Evans officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
