Thomas Virgil Adkins, 69 of Wheelersburg, died Monday January 16, 2017 at SOMC Hospice. He was born April 6, 1947 in Greenfield, Ohio to the late John W. and Effie Faye Rodgers Adkins. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Edgar Adkins and James Adkins.

Thomas is survived by 2 brothers; Harvey L. (Shirley) Adkins of West Portsmouth and Robert Carl (Pat) Adkins of Pomeroy, OH., 2 sisters; Luerena (Gary) Ruckel and Mary Stelzer both of Columbus and 2 nephews; Larry (Georgia) Adkins of Sciotoville and Kelly (Tammy) Adkins of West Portsmouth.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday January 21, 2017 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rick Ratliff officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery.
