Thomas B. Blevins, 65
In Loving memory of Thomas B. Blevins who died on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at his residence on Upper Twin Creek. He was born February 23, 1942 in Blue Creek. Thomas retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation in 2004, where he was employed for 27 years. He enjoyed everyday he spent working there and everyone he worked with. Since his retirement Thomas loved spending time with his family and friends. He also loved taking care of his cattle. He was a caring person who would always lend a helping hand. He enjoyed the out doors and telling stories to everyone.
He was proceded in death by his father and mother Oscar and Eliza Blevins; sons, Bill F. Dalton and Codie Wayne Morgan and a nephew Marty Taylor.
Thomas was survived by his wife Rosalie Blevins; daughters, Trudy (Michael) Distel of Stout, Annie and Gena Abbott at home; sons, Thomas (Mary) Blevins of Portsmouth, Michael Malone at home; brothers, Robert (Sharon) Blevins of Blue Creek, Woodrow (Susie) Blevins of Stout; sisters, Linda (Don) Sparks of Blue Creek and Susie (Roger) Holsinger of Stout. He had 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a special friend, Hardy McGraw and many other close family and friends.
Funeral services will be 1pm Sunday, June 3, 2007 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with David Blevins officiating. Internment will be at Stepp Family Cemetery in Blue Creek.
