Timothy Joseph Evans, 54

Timothy Joseph Evans, 54 died Saturday July 18, 2015 at his home. He was born October 30, 1960 in Portsmouth to the late Harold Joseph Evans and Maxine Manchester Evans of West Portsmouth. Along with his father he was preceded in death by a grandmother Lucille Jordan and uncles; Richard Jordan and Gene Evans. Tim was a mechanic and loved racing. He enjoyed go-cart racing as well as working on the go-carts. He also loved dirt track racing and going to PRP on Saturday nights. He could light up a room with his laugh.

Along with his mother Maxine, Tim is survived by 2 sons; Timothy Joseph (TJ) Evans II and wife Amanda of Franklin Furnace and Jonathon Trent (Jonny) Evans and girlfriend Brittany Allgood of West Portsmouth, fiancé and best friend Kim Besco of West Portsmouth, 2 stepsons; Justin and Bradley Besco of West Portsmouth, 2 brothers; Kenneth (Audrey) Evans and Aaron both of West Portsmouth, 2 sisters; Sherri (Jeff) Sparks and Susan (Jeff) Vernier all of West Portsmouth and the mother of his children and dear friend Susan Coleman of West Portsmouth.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Wednesday July 22, 2015 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Jason Hobbs officiating and interment in Friendship Cemetery.
