Timothy Lee Nelson, 51
Timothy Lee Nelson, 51 of West Portsmouth died Thursday, January 5. 2006 at OSU Medical Center. Tim was born May 8, 1954 in Portsmouth to the late William Henry Nelson, Jr. and to Peachie Irene Blevins who survives. He is a retired Portsmouth City Employee.
Tim is survived by his wife Roxanne Lykins Nelson whom he married March 14, 1998 in Greenup, KY. He is also survived by a son, Tobias Blake Nelson of West Portsmouth; two daughters, Elaine Michelle Gregory of South Haven, Mississippi and Gabrielle Nicole Nelson at home; three step sons, Randy Cochran of Portsmouth, Jake Cochran of Ft. Riley, KS, Adam Cochran of West Portsmouth; two brothers, William Nelson III of Stout, Ronald Nelson of West Portsmouth; a sister Pam Grandin of West Portsmouth; and six grandchildren, Chloe Nelson, Emma Nelson, Trenton Hayslip of West Portsmouth, Vladimir Cochran and Hayley Cochran of Portsmouth, and Skylar Powell of Mississippi.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Saturday, January 7, 2006 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Matthew Brooks officiating and interment in Friendship Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 4 to 8 P.M. on Friday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
