Tony Franklin Taylor, 74
Tony Franklin Taylor, 74 of McDermott died Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Tony was born December 16, 1930 in Scioto County to the late Lawrence Edward and Dorothy Dunlap Taylor. Tony was an avid hunter and loved to garden; he was retired from Operating Engineers Local 118; he was a Korean War Army Veteran and a member of the DAV.
Tony is survived by his wife Ruby Ivers Taylor; one son Dale (Jackie) Taylor of Waverly; one daughter, Toni (Mark) Riggs of McDermott; one brother Wayne (Patsy) Taylor of Peebles; one sister Grace Horn of Lucasville; four grandchildren, Sheena and Taylor Riggs and Holly and Blair Taylor. He is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Saturday, February 5, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with George Vastine officiating and interment in Moon Cemetery in Otway. Graveside Military Rites will be given by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 7 to 9 P.M. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
