Tonya Sue Ruggles, 51

Tonya Sue Crabtree Ruggles, 51 of Lucasville, passed away Saturday October 26, 2024 at her home. She was born January 30, 1973 in Portsmouth to the late Farrell Lewis Crabtree and Mary L. Hiles Crabtree who survives.

Along with her father she is preceded in death by a step grandson Vincent Ruggles.

Tonya worked as an Activity and Outreach Coordinator at Star Inc. Adult services, she enjoyed her job, she loved helping people every chance she had. Tonya also loved the change in the seasons, she really enjoyed the fall season but above all the Christmas season was her favorite, Tonya had a heart of gold and was always smiling, she lit up the room when she walked in, everyone who ever met Tonya loved her. Tonya loved traveling with her husband Mike and her friends to different places. Tonya loved spending her extra time with her family and loved being around her grandchildren cooking and enjoying family meals together.

Along with her mother Mary, Tonya is survived by her husband Michael Ruggles, whom she married on October 13, 2012, a daughter Paige D. Moore (David Maguire), stepsons; Timothy (Courtney) Ruggles and Jacob Ruggles, stepdaughter Rebecca Ruggles (Kevin) Bolton, a brother Gary L. Crabtree, 3 grandchildren; Oaklee M. Maguire, Lillyona D. Maguire and Raeleigh D. Thomas, 4 step grandchildren; Tyeson Brown, Laila Ruggles, Aiden Ruggles, Mia Ruggles and Kilynn Neely along with her 3 dogs; Cash, Dozer an Molly.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday November 2, 2024 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Roy Bennett officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
