Vesta Pauline Adams 87
Vesta Pauline Adams 87 formerly of West Portsmouth passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Crystal Care Center in Portsmouth. Pauline was born July 11, 1923 in Scioto County to the late Clyde and Minnie Cooper. She had worked for Vaulkins and Mitchell Lace Factories and was a member of the Nauvoo United Methodist Church were she had played the piano for 55 plus years. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Berle Adams whom she married May 25, 1946 in West Portsmouth, one son; Gary Adams and Step mother; Molly Cooper.
Pauline is survived by one grandson; Ryan Adams of Minford, daughter-in-law; Vickie Adams of West Portsmouth and life long friend; Faye Goodman of West Portsmouth and many cousins.
Funeral services will be 11AM Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Nauvoo United Methodist Church in West Portsmouth with Pastor Pete Shaffer officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the Roger W Davis Funeral Home from 5 to 8PM on Friday and one hour prior to the service at the Church. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
