Violet H. Srofe, 91

Violet H. Srofe, 91 of Friendship, went to be with the Lord on Saturday may 30, 2015 at Hempstead Manor. She was born August 18, 1923 in West Union to the late Walter and Bess Burchett Huston. She retired from JC Penny's at the age of 72 after many years of service. Along with her parents Violet was preceded in death by a brother Walter Huston Jr.

Violet is survived by 2 sons; Jon R. (Sue) Srofe of Portsmouth and Dan D. (Ann) Srofe Sr. of Lucasville, a sister Lillian Timberlake of Portsmouth, 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
