Virginia Ruth Fitzgerald, 75

Virginia Ruth Holsinger Fitzgerald, 75 of Minford formerly of Adams County, died Tuesday July 3, 2012 at SOMC Hospice. She was born May 31, 1937 in Adams County to the late Ed and Daisy Rodgers Holsinger. Along with her parents Virginia is preceded in death by her husband Gene Fitzgerald who she married on April 5, 1953, a daughter Norma Gene Fitzgerald, 3 brothers; James, Robert and Billy Holsinger and a sister Alice Bently.

Virginia is survived by 3 sons; Rex (Rosemary) Fitzgerald, Charlie (Tina) Fitzgerald and Larry (Audra) Fitzgerald all of Lucasville, 4 daughters; Rosie (Elbert) Nehus of West Union, Carol (Frank) Laxton of Minford, Betty (Delmar) Smith of West Union and Alice Storer of Celina, 2 brothers; Ronnie Holsinger of Portsmouth and Jackie Holsinger of Lucasville, a sister Margie Stevens of Stout, 20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday July 5, 2012 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Junior Holsinger officiating and interment in Sunshine Ridge Cemetery.
