Virginia Louise Sadler, 76

Virginia Louise Sadler, 76 of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at her home. She was born June 9, 1946 in Portsmouth to the late David Nathaniel and Anna Louise Blevins Journey.

Along with her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lee Sadler Sr. whom she married on January 30, 1965, and 2 sisters: Lois Ann Journey and Wanda Ann Journey.

Virginia is survived by a son, Jack Lee (Brenda) Sadler Jr., a daughter, Vicki Lynn (Nathan) Simon, 7 brothers: David, Bart, Sam, Matt, Reese, Tony and Teddy Journey, 2 sisters: Amanda Newman and Peggy Fegly, 4 grandchildren: Logan Moore Janes, Alison Victoria (Eli) Schlievert, Payton James Simon and Madison Elizabeth Simon, 2 step grandchildren: Christy Gurga and Matthew Perkins, 6 great grandchildren: Zeyk, Celia, Haidyn, Nova, Tristan and Lilli, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Gary Newman officiating and interment in Stoney Run Cemetery.
