Virginia Lee Stepp, 86
Virginia Lee Stepp, 86 of Portsmouth died Friday November 4, 2011 at SOMC Hospice. She was born December 6, 1924 in Portsmouth to the late William Marion and Audrey Stratton Setters. Along with her parents Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Dallas Clifford Stepp who she married May 7, 1966, 4 sisters; Estel Bowles, Betty Foster, Christine Swords and Eleanor Setters, 2 brothers Carl and Clay Setters. Virginia recently had been a resident at heartland nursing home.
Virginia is survived by 4 sons; Larry Vassar, William (Barbara) Vassar and Phillip (Sherry) Vassar all of Portsmouth, Gerald (Mabel) Vassar of Virginia, step children; Phyllis (Danny) Spires, Gary, Kent and Roger Stepp, several grandchildren, step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Monday November 7, 2011 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Ralph Clay officiating and interment in Friendship Cemetery.
