Virginia "Ginny" Bond, 80 , of Sciotoville, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in West Virginia. Born October 2, 1933 in Wakefield, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William Zimmerman and Gladys Adkins Long, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Joseph (Twila) Bond; four grandchildren, Paul (Kim) Fitzpatrick, Stacey (Zheva) Bond, James (Amy) Bond and Jody (Jason) Lucas; three great grandchildren, Trenten Bond, Chase Bond and Lane Bond; three step great grandchildren, Jordan Sparks, Jada Sparks and Trey Carter; two sisters, Carmie (John) Rideout and Debbie (Ed) Adkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Bond; three brothers, Larry Long, Gene Zimmerman, and Frank Zimmerman and two sisters, Winona Reynolds, and Fannie Zimmerman.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Richard Stiles officiating. Burial will be Scioto Burial Park in Rushtown.
