Walter Monroe Eldridge Sr., 75

Walter Monroe Eldridge Sr., 75 of Waverly died Monday, October 29, 2018 at his home.  He was born April 23, 1943 in Portsmouth to the late Virgil and Mary Stevens Eldridge.  He retired as a warehouse manager from Wilcar Sundrees.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife; Carolyn Joyce Eldridge, a brother; Raymond Eldridge, and a grandson; Travis Daniel Eldridge.

Walter is survived by his wife; Carolyn Jobe Eldridge, 3 sons; Walter Monroe (Jodi) Eldridge II of West Portsmouth, David Eldridge of the Philippines, and Ken (Lisa) Eldridge of Lebanon, Missouri, 2 daughters; Joyce (Doug) Banks of Lucasville and Linda Phipps of Portsmouth, 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters; Shirley (Junior) Wright of Portsmouth and Shelby Culver of Minford.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Lucasville Church of God with Rick Ratliff officiating and interment in Batterson Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church on Friday starting at 11:00 AM.  Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
