Walter Cole Jr. 77

Walter Cole Jr. 77 of West Portsmouth went to be with the Lord on Thursday June 11, 2015. He was born December 5, 1937 to the late Walter Bruce and Hester Ramey Cole. He was a retired laborer from Laborers Local 83. Along with his parents, Walt was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Jim Cole, Roy Cole, and Bruce Cole, 3 sisters; Ruth Cole Webb, and Janet and Nellie Cole.

Walt is survived by his wife of 32 years, Angelene Cole whom he married August 8, 1983, 4 sons; Bo (Dolly) Cole of McDermott, Randy (Teresa) Cole and Roger (Teresa) Cole of Longview Texas and Donald (Becky) Billetter of West Portsmouth, 6 grandchildren; Mike, Amanda, Lesha, Amber, Donnie, and Dalton, 6 Great grandchildren, 4 brothers; Everett Cole, Ralph (Tammy) Cole, Robert (Evelyn) Cole all of West Portsmouth, and John (Karen) Cole of Sciotoville along with many nieces and nephews.

Along with many outdoor sports, Walter loved watching his grandchildren play football and baseball. He was an avid Reds Fan. He enjoyed camping, hunting, horses, and raising chickens.

A celebration of life will be held at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth on Saturday June 13, 2015 for family and friends from 2 to 4:00PM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
