Wanda Jean Diller 81
Wanda Jean Diller 81 of West Portsmouth, died Sunday, September 6, 2009 at her residence. Wanda was born April 10, 1928 in Portsmouth to the late David Oscar and Matilda (Jamison) Evans. Wanda was employed by Kresge's Department Store and served as a teacher's aide for Jenkin's Elementary School, belonged to the Washington Township Ladies Auxiliary, DeMolay -Mothers Group and was involved as a Den Mother in the Cub Scouts of America. Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 yrs, William B. Diller, a brother; Leland Evans, two sisters; Evelyn Vendura and Lucile Spradlin and a daughter-in-law; Karen Lewis Diller.
Wanda is survived by two sons; William E. Diller and Wayne (Barbara) Diller of West Portsmouth, one sister; Mildred Hall of Stockham Hill and three grandchildren; Patrick B. Diller, Kyle L. Diller and Amanda E. (Christopher) Dice.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Pete Shaffer officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8:00 PM on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
