Wanita Lee Colley, 83

Wanita Lee Colley, 83 of West Portsmouth died Monday, June 18, 2018 at her home.  She was born July 9, 1934 in New Richmond, Ohio to the late Francis and Lottie Fancher Griffith.  She was preceded in death by her husband; Herman Loren Colley Sr., a son; Herman Loren Colley Jr., 2 grandchildren; Kenneth Brent Colley and Tatum Breech, and 3 sisters; Donna Taylor, Jacquline Haas, and Shovel Jean Griffith.  She was a member of Starlite Baptist Church and also attended Grace Chapel and Nauvoo United Methodist Church.

Wanita is survived by 2 sons; Victor Herman (Becky) Colley and John Teddy Colley, 2 daughters; Yosonda (Paul) Conley and Wendy (Tim) Thacker, 2 brothers; Francis Griffith Jr. and Gary Allen Griffith, 3 sisters; Janie Woodruff, Miranda Kelch, and Nancy Carol Chandler, 19 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Nauvoo United Methodist Church with Pastor Pete Shaffer officiating and interment in Cooper Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church on Wednesday starting at 10:30 AM.  Arrangements are under the direction of Roger W.
