William Everett Cooper 75,

William Everett Cooper 75, of Stout died Monday August 1, 2011 at SOMC Hospice. He was born June, 11, 1936 in Stout to the late Noah and Edna Newman Cooper. He worked for Reinhardt Trucking, Belmont Casket Company and also managed a retread business in Columbus for Goodyear Tire. He was an Army Veteran, and a member of 8th Street Wesleyan Chapel Church in West Portsmouth. Bill Loved to hunt , especially deer. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 6 sisters.

Bill is survived by his wife Linda Faye McGinnis Cooper who he married on April 25, 1958, 2 daughters; Fylena Gayle (Terry) Kell of Seamen, Cozetta (Greg) Adkins of Stout, a brother; Otto Cooper of Stout, 5 grandchildren; Bunny, Sissy, Farren, Chan and Corey; 4 great grandchildren and his dog "Little Bit ".

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday August 4, 2011 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Carl Rose officiating. Interment will be in Mckendree Cemetery with Military Graveside rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday starting at 11:00 AM.
