William "Billy" Everett Hodge, 59

William "Billy" Everett Hodge, 59, of Columbus, Ohio went into Heavenly Rest on Sunday, December 11, 2016 after a short illness.  He was born May 2, 1957 in Scioto County to the late Milford and Lilly Cooper Hodge McGraw.  He was the fifth child born into a family of seven kids. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-father James "Finn" McGraw, and a brother, Russell Hodge.

Those left to cherish his memories are his ex-wives, Ruth Wallace of South Shore, Kathy Prince of Columbus, a daughter, Candy Hodge of South Carolina, a stepson, Joseph (Julie) Morgan of Columbus, 4 brothers; Donald Hodge of Columbus, Freddie Hodge of Portsmouth, James (Jackie) McGraw of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, Paul (Teresa) McGraw of West Portsmouth, a sister, Myrtle (Emmett) Withrow of Colcord, West Virginia, a stepmother Jackie McGraw, 8 grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Mary (Momma), Leroy and the entire Carter family for always looking out for Billy and your love, Dave Denny and Kesso Kane.  The family wishes to thank everyone who knew and loved Billy while he was living in Columbus.  And to one of the best brothers in the world, Donnie, for always being there and taking care of Billy, we love you.  Billy's favorite song was "I'm just going fishing" and that is how we think of him now.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Roger W.
