William Frank Jenkins, 72
William Frank Jenkins, 72 of West Portsmouth, passed away Friday October 22, 2010 at Southern Ohio Medical Center after a brief illness with cancer. He was born December 16, 1937 in Cynthiana, Ohio to the late James E. and Dorothy M Knisley Jenkins. He was a retired truck driver for Reinhardt, Kaplan and Glockners. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Christa V. Hammond Jenkins, 2 brothers Russell and Joe and a sister Mary Hammond.
William is Survived by 2 daughters; Tammy (Kelly) Adkins of West Portsmouth and Tina Jenkins of McDermott, 2 sons; Kevin and Darrell of Chillicothe, a brother Larry of Massieville, 3 sisters; Louise Metzer of Indiana, Margaret (Kenny) Beekman of Texas and Ruby Taylor of Cynthiana, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a very special friend Judy Hale, many nieces and nephews and a special brother-in-law Gary Hammond.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday October 25, 2010 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rick Ratliff officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
