William Robert Pennington, Jr. 56

William Robert Pennington, Jr. 56 of Wheelersburg died Monday February 25, 2008 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born November 22, 1951 in Baltimore, Md to the late William Pennington Sr. and Mary Bushman Pennington Henderson. Billy was a meat cutter for Herman's Meat for 18 years and currently worked at as a meat cutter for Save A-Lot where he enjoyed his coworkers and customers. He attended Blvd. United Methodist Church in Portsmouth. Billy was a loving father to his children BJ and Brandi and was also a wonderful grandfather. He had a fun loving personality and he loved a good joke. He also gave the gift of life by being an organ donor.

Along with his parents Billy was preceded in death by his wife on May 17, 1991, Debra Ann Kirk Pennington who he married on August 31, 1974 in Stout, a sister Wanda Charles a brother, Jimmy and a nephew Tommy Charles.

Billy is survived by his son William Robert "BJ" Pennington III and his wife Melissa of Minford, a daughter Brandi Nicole Pennington of Wheelersburg, 3 grandchildren; Jordyn Ann-Marie Pennington, Abigail Nicole Pennington and Nathaniel Robert Pennington all of Minford, a sister Carol Ann (Lenny) Pappas of Baltimore MD and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his girlfriend Angela Leatherman of Portsmouth which he loved dearly.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday February 29, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend John Robbins officiating.
