William Thomas Pollard, 88

William Thomas Pollard, 88 of West Portsmouth died Monday, May 1, 2017 at SOMC Hospice. He was born January 28, 1929 to the late John and Ethel Rudd Pollard. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired Core Maker at OSCO Industries. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Irene Pollard and several brothers and sisters.

William is survived by a daughter, Debra Smith of West Portsmouth, a son, Thomas Pollard of Lucasville, a brother, John Pollard of Adams County, a sister, Betty Stevenson of Adams County, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a grandchild, William Journey, and 4 great grandchildren whom he raised.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with David Sibole officiating. Interment will be in Worleys Run Cemetery with Military graveside rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday starting at 11:00 AM.
