William Russell Pollitt, Sr., 53
William Russell Pollitt, Sr., 53, of West Portsmouth died Saturday, May 7, 2005 at Heartland of Portsmouth. William was born October 31, 1951 in Portsmouth to James William Pollitt of Piketon and Anna Lucille Anderson Pollitt of Lucasville. Bill was a member of the Portsmouth Church of God and worked as a Press Foreman at the Portsmouth Times.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Ann Morgan Pollitt. He is survived by a son, William Russell Pollitt, Jr. of McDermott; three daughters, Stephanie Mae (Rick) Coyle of Chillicothe, Ramona Melissa (Wayson) Cooper of South Shore, and Rebecca Ann (Scott) Shepherd of West Portsmouth; a sister Katherine Renee Leslie of Lucasville and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister Shirley Ann Robinson.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Wayne Aaron officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
