William C. Smith, 74

William C. Smith, 74 of Stout, died Monday November 4, 2013 at the home of his sister in South Shore, Ky. He was born June 7, 1939 in Buena Vista to the late Clarence and Mina Sowards Smith. He was a former Firestone employee and attended Pond Run Baptist Church.

William is survived by a son, Billy Smith, 2 daughters; Marylyn New and Helen Smith, 3 brothers; Merlin, Marvin and Kenneth Smith, and 2 sisters; Louise Taylor and Violet Taylor.

There will be graveside services 11:00 AM Thursday November 7, 2013 at McKendree Cemetery in Stout. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
