Bertha Jane Furnier, 90

Bertha Jane Furnier, 90 of Stout died Thursday, December 22, 2022, at her home. She was born February 15, 1932, in Scioto County to the late James and Pearl Ann Parker Blevins.

Along with her parents, Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, John Walter Furnier, whom she married on September 12, 1964, a daughter, SuzAnn Ferguson, a grandson, Benjamin W. Ferguson a great great grandson Ayedin Levi Helwig and 10 brothers and sisters.

Bertha was an LPN and a Lab Tech and retired from Portsmouth Receiving Hospital.

Bertha is survived by a grandson, Joseph Michael (Beverly) Ferguson, 4 great grandchildren: Quindeline Conkel, Deanna Bazler, Timothy Hobbs and Tiffani Ferguson, 3 great great grandchildren and a sister, Helen Salyers along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday December 28, 2022 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Dean Thompson officiating and interment in Sandy Springs Cemetery.
