Bill O. Dunham, 95
Bill O. Dunham, 95, of West Portsmouth, died Monday, November 10, 2025, at his home. He was born June 13, 1930, in Portsmouth to the late Harry and Elva (Fullwiler) Dunham.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice (Bower) Dunham, whom he married on December 30, 1950; a brother, Jim Dunham; and a sister, Doris Jean Walbright.
Bill was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the N&W Railroad after 40 years as a dispatcher. He was also a longtime Mason and a member of Manchester Masonic Lodge #14.
He is survived by three sons, Bill (Becky) Dunham, Chris (Dona) Dunham, and Jon (Wendi) Dunham; two daughters, Terry (Randy) Diller and Lorie (Michael) Peters; twelve grandchildren, Randy Lee, Amanda, Jessica, Emily, Kyle, Tiffany, Megan, Chris Jr., Brandan, Spenser, Elizabeth, and Kaylee; fourteen great-grandchildren, Jalynn, Madylynn, Ellynn, Graham, Kynslee, Lily, Micah, Bryce, Jazlynn, Adania, Brady, Portland, Clare Alice, and Chris III; along with a niece, Lynn Walbright Adyan, and a nephew, Phil Walbright.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Friendship Cemetery with military rites by the James Irwin Post No. 622 American Legion and William A.
