Billy Homer Carver, 80

Billy Homer Carver, 80 of Franklin Furnace, died Friday, April 18, 2025 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born January 20, 1945 in Portsmouth, to the late Billy E. and Virginia M. Dyer Carver.

Along with his parents, Billy was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Prior, a brother, Danny Carver, a sister, Ada Carver and a granddaughter Amanda Murta.

Billy was a retired truck driver and formerly worked at McGovney Ready Mix.

He is survived by a daughter Debbie (Howard) Jezowski, 2 sons; Brian (Michelle) Carver and Richard (John) Carver, 2 sisters; Ann Bias and Angie Arnold, his companion Mary Dillon, 16 grandchildren; April Shelton, Crystal Shelton, Brandon Carver, Jason Carver, Ashley Carver, Justice Carver, Addyson Carver, Tiffany Copley, Billie Rose, Fay Prior, John Prior Jr., Jennifer Prior, James Prior, Jamieh Prior, Jacob Carver and Adrianna Paige along with 27 great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Visitation will be held on Saturday starting at 12:00 PM Noon. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
