Carmen Lee Rayburn, 75
Carmen Lee Rayburn, 75 of West Portsmouth, died Monday, February 27, 2023 at Rest Haven Nursing Home. She was born October 31, 1947 in Portsmouth, to the late Richard E. and Estel Alberta Setters Bowles.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Sue Holsinger and a special brother-in-law Kenneth Holsinger.
Carmen was a former Bus Driver for Washington-Nile Schools and retired from Walmart.
Carmen is survived by 2 sons: Thomas “Kevin” (Andrea) Zaph and Stephen “Craig” (Dawn) Rayburn, a daughter Barbara Zaph (Ryan) Guilfoyle and a sister Barbara (Bob) Morfitt, 7 grandchildren: Kyle Carver, Karlie Guilfoyle, Samantha (Greg) Owens, Kellen Zaph, Kristopher (Marissa) Zaph, Kenzie Zaph and Kimberly Rayburn, 6 great grandchildren: Ryder, Ollie, Karmyn, Kendall, Karsen and Kyler.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday March 4, 2023 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rick Phillips officiating. Family and friends will gather on Saturday starting at 11:00 AM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
