Carol Lewis, 74

Carol Lewis, 74 of McDermott, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025 at her home. She was born April 23, 1951 in Portsmouth to the late Earl and Margaret Pollock Twaddle.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Thomas Twaddle, and her sister Patricia Smith.

She was a 1969 graduate of Portsmouth West High School, who then went on to work at Sears, then became the secretary for E.A. Cox. She was an avid bowler and played in many leagues around the area.

Carol is survived by her husband, Richard Lewis who she married July 3, 1969. 3 daughters: Teresa (Rick) Powell, Christina (BJ) Henry, Jennifer (Jerod) Essman, a sister, Wanda Evans, and her 7 grandchildren whom she adored: Cade Powell, Alexis Miller, Larrin Essman, Carson Powell, Brayden Lewis, Jacob Henry, and Haley Henry, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, May 5, 2025 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with interment in Scioto Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday starting at 11:00 AM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
