David Shane McNutt, 37

David Shane McNutt, 37 of Portsmouth, died Saturday April 1, 2023. He was born May 6, 1985 in Portsmouth to David McNutt and Cathy Fitzgerald Hughes.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ralph and Leona McNutt and Harold and Juanita Fitzgerald.

Shane was a 2003 graduate of Portsmouth West high School and worked as a Mill-Wright. He loved hunting and fishing. He was also a big Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals Fan.

Along with his parents, Shane is survived by a son Braxton Shane McNutt, 2 sisters: Tiffany McNutt and Madison McNutt. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth Interment will be in McKendree Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday starting at 11:00 AM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
